Experimental Sculpture Collection
I See You
Don't Let Them Hear You
Do You Feel It?
I See You
Wood, Hot Glue, Watercolor Paper
12" x 17" x 19"
Do You Feel It?
Packing Tape, Masking Tape, Caulk
20" x 17" x 5"
While exploring the materials to build the sculptures, I wanted to focus on not using the same materials for any of the sculptures because I wanted each of them to look completely different, but convey the same feeling.
I decided to include the thread on the second sculpture to make it more chaotic.
I felt the work was lacking height, so I used dowels to prop the first sculpture up more.
I want to keep exploring unsettling feeling works.
I want to learn more about wood working.
This piece allowed me to explore embracing the unconventional side of art.
The making of this work exposed new ideas such as going against the "three points of contact" rule.
